Kadence Turns 4

While we were in California Kadence had her birthday. She is now 4. I can't believe how fast it goes. She is so fun and is always saying the cutest things. She loves purple, chicken nuggets and pre-school. She thought is was so cool to get to turn 4 while on vacation. I guess it was easier for me I didn't really have to do a birthday party, just dinner at Denny's. What a party.

California Trip!!!!

Last week we went to California with my family. We had a great time. Cory had to go home half way through the trip for work but it was still fun. We spent three days at Disneyland and a day at SeaWorld.

Me, Megan and Kadence got our faces painted. It was so fun.

Kadence was tall enough to ride most of the rides this time. YEAH!!

Kadence's Big Day!!!

Kadence started Preschool yesterday at Barefoot Montessori. She was so excited!!! Cory and I took her and thought she would be scared and wouldn't want to stay, since she has seperation issues ever since Addi was born. But, she went right in turned around and said BYE mom.

When I picked her up I asked :" Kadence what did you do at school?"

Kadence "I learned like a hundred songs, okay like 5."

Me: "Did you meet any new friends?"

Kadence "Yes, and she's bigger than me, shes 5. Mom, I get to go with the big kids!"

It is so sad she is getting so big now. I can't believe how fast it really goes by. I am so excited for Kadence to get to go without Megan with her. I think she needs time with other kids. It is a little quiet in the house now. Megan and Kadence both go to school in the afternoon and Addi is usually asleep while they are gone. I can actually get stuff done now without stopping to console someone in tears or break up a fight. I love it. But I do miss the girls and can't wait for them to get home.

Megan Goes to Kindergartern!!!!

Yes it is true Megan started Kindergarten on Thursday!!!


She was so excited to start that the night before she started she set her clothes and backpack out on her bed.

I was so excited for her to start since all she has talked about for the last month is Kindergarten. She was so cute all morning she kept asking if it was time to go. I didn't think that I would be sad but I almost cried. I held it back though since Kadence was with me and I didn't want her to get sad!!!!

I just wanted to tell Cutler my little nephew Happy 2nd Birthday! He keeps us all laughing and is so fun. We Love You!!!

Longest Night Ever

Okay so I think I had the longest night of my life last night. Cory went fishing with his dad for a couple of days so I thought I could get a lot done at night so, I got Megan and Kadence to bed at 8:00 which was great and Addi got in her bed at 9:00, so far so good right? I went into the laundry room and started ironing clothes until 12:00 then I went and got in bed, as soon as I got in bed Kadence started crying for me so I went and got her and she had a fever. So I get her some Tylenol and got her back to bed it is about 1:00am now. I get back in bed, and sure enough down comes Kadence now she is complaining about a stomach ache so I give her some pepto and put her back in bed. Then Addi wakes up and wants to eat when I get done feeding her it is 2:30 am but of course she doesn't want to go back to sleep she just wants to cry so after an hour of crying I get her to sleep, then down comes Kadence again, now she wants me to go lay with her so we both go upstairs and lay down. At about 4:00 I come back down stairs and lay in my bed then at 5:30 I can hear my dad up getting ready for work, then 7:00 Kadence comes down stairs goes in the bathroom and throws up a lot. I think today is going to be a really long day with no sleep, a sick little girl and a baby all at the same time it is going to be a really really long day.

Weekend at Grandma & Grandpa Curtis' aka "Horsey"

You are probably wanting to know about the akd Horsey in the title, ever since I can remember the Megan has called Cory's parents Grandma and Grandpa Horsey, that is because obviously they have horses. It is really cute but it really is Grandma and Grandpa Curtis. We went to their house this weekend to get our camp trailer ready incase we go camping in the near future. We had a blast the girls got to ride the horses which they loved.

We got to see Chett who we miss so much, he is staying there until we get a house of our own. We coudn't bring him to my parents house because they don't really do the dog thing and they have a pool and we wouldn't beable to keep him out of it. But he really does like it in Minersville he has a lot of room to run a river to play in and it isn't has hot.








Keith and Guyla have this playhouse that Guylas dad made along time ago it was for Cory and his brother when they were little. It is the coolest thing ever, there are two rooms in it with real windows and best of all it actually has power to it. It really is a great thing to have and the girls love it.
