Clean up disaster!!

Okay I need some help. I have a little problem ok a really BIG problem. Cleaning up the girls room has become the biggest task of the day I am not even kidding. Megan and Kadence have decided that a clean room in not a need but for me it is. They throw the biggest fits to have to clean up. It starts with a I didn't make the mess and ends 2 or 3 hours later with me taking and throwing away toys because they won't clean them up. The throwing away toys used to work but now all it does is makes them cry and still not pick up. By he end of the night I have had it. I tell Cory every night I am going to go in their room and get rid of everything because then they can't make and mess and not clean it up. I don't have a problem with them playing and making a mess it is the idea that they won't clean it up. If any one has any better ideas I need some help on this one.

Finally Halloween

Halloween was so crazy and fun this year we had 2 halloween parties with the girls at there schools and it was a blast. Kadence was three different people for halloween. Addi just had a shirt that said " Snack o Lantern" and Megan was a Ballerina

Mrs Bryner Megans Teacher she is such a great teacher Megan loves her. They had a parade at Megans school so we went and watched she was so cute.

Addi finally eats baby Food

Our little Addi is now 6 months old and finally I have gotten her to eat baby food. It has been a long and frustrating task. Obviously it wasn't me who got her to eat it is was Cory which kind of hurt my feelings since I am the one who normally feeds her, changes her diaper, baths her and of course gets up with her in the middle of the night. But I guess that is okay since she puts her hands out to me when she wants me to hold her. Which is a really good feeling. Is this not the cutest face.

Kids say the funniest things!!!

So last week we were coming home from Kadence's party in Cedar City with Cory's family. It was about 8:30 so it was dark in the truck Megan asked if they could have the light on in the back so Kadence and her could see the toys they were playing with. So they had the light on for awhile then when we got to the Hurricane exit I told them we were getting close to town and they needed to turn the light off. Megan being Megan turned the light off and started to through a fit, then all of a sudden she stopped and said "Mom do you have any carrots?" I said "No are you hungry?" Megan then said "No, I just need carrots so I can see better, you do know that carrots help you see, right?" I couldn't help but laugh. Sometimes it amazes me what little kids learn, and remember what they hear.

Kadence Turns 4

While we were in California Kadence had her birthday. She is now 4. I can't believe how fast it goes. She is so fun and is always saying the cutest things. She loves purple, chicken nuggets and pre-school. She thought is was so cool to get to turn 4 while on vacation. I guess it was easier for me I didn't really have to do a birthday party, just dinner at Denny's. What a party.

California Trip!!!!

Last week we went to California with my family. We had a great time. Cory had to go home half way through the trip for work but it was still fun. We spent three days at Disneyland and a day at SeaWorld.

Me, Megan and Kadence got our faces painted. It was so fun.

Kadence was tall enough to ride most of the rides this time. YEAH!!

Kadence's Big Day!!!

Kadence started Preschool yesterday at Barefoot Montessori. She was so excited!!! Cory and I took her and thought she would be scared and wouldn't want to stay, since she has seperation issues ever since Addi was born. But, she went right in turned around and said BYE mom.

When I picked her up I asked :" Kadence what did you do at school?"

Kadence "I learned like a hundred songs, okay like 5."

Me: "Did you meet any new friends?"

Kadence "Yes, and she's bigger than me, shes 5. Mom, I get to go with the big kids!"

It is so sad she is getting so big now. I can't believe how fast it really goes by. I am so excited for Kadence to get to go without Megan with her. I think she needs time with other kids. It is a little quiet in the house now. Megan and Kadence both go to school in the afternoon and Addi is usually asleep while they are gone. I can actually get stuff done now without stopping to console someone in tears or break up a fight. I love it. But I do miss the girls and can't wait for them to get home.
