The birthday Weekend!!

Ever since we have lived here we have wanted to go to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving point so Cory decided that is what we should do for his birthday with the girls. It was fun we put them in the truck and told them it was a surprise. When we pulled into Thanksgiving Point Megan got so excited. She has been asking to go for a long time.

Addi was so interested in all of it.

They played in the water table.  But Addi didn't like to the water and Megan didn't really either.

A fun puzzle that the girls put together

Addi like the sand for a minute but then decided it was gross

Grandparents Day!

At Kadence's School they celebrated Grandparents Day.  She had to take her Grandparents to school and they sang songs, made crafts and she got to show them what she is doing at school.  Since both of her Grandparents don't live near us she got to take her Great Grandparents.  It was a lot of fun for her to get to show them all the fun things that she is doing right now in school.

Bowling Fun!

The weather is not the greatest in Northern Utah.  So there isn't a lot to do unless you are willing to freeze which is not my favorite thing so we found a bowling alley here in Payson and we had a blast.  It was so fun.  The girls think they are so good because they beat me this time, and I all I kept saying is "It's so much easier on the Wii."  Thanks for the fun night.

They have these bar things that the kids put their balls and push.  Then the ball goes down the lane a lot easier for kids.  They were so great.
I had to take this picture of Addi's shoes.  They were so dang cute and the littlest things ever.  It took Addi about 20 min to let us put them on her.

an attempt and a miserable fail!

I don't understand. I follow a recipe exactly and what do I get a horrible turn out.  If anyone can figure what I did wrong please feel free to inform me because this is the third batch of rolls I have made and they never turn out good.
can you tell the difference?
Before they raised, they are suppost to double in size
this was after they were cooked, but I let them raise for an hour.
They are horrible.  I was so disappointed since I love bread and I got the Lion House cookbook for Christmas from my sister.  I thought maybe just maybe I could make my own rolls.  Wrong thinking on my part.  I think I will stick to cookies I can make those.

A good trade off?

A couple of months ago we got bunk beds for the girls and put them all in one little room, for the purpose of having a toy room. I THOUGHT it was a good idea, Now that I am babysitting  3, 2 year olds, 1, 3 year old, and we are not including the baby and the older kids that I watch because they are all pretty good at cleaning up.
But then we end up with this for a toy room!

Good trade off? I can't quit decide.  Because those who know me I am kind of a FREAK about a clean house.  I just want everything to be nice a tidy all the time.  Unrealistic? Maybe but it is still something that i want maybe in some ways I am to much like my mom, and Grandma Carter they always seemed to have a nice and clean house.    I keep trying to tell myself at least its a bedroom and I can close the door, but even still I walk past it and try not to look in the room knowing that I will end up with stress knowing that it is a mess.  What to do, What to do?

This girl loves her cookie dough!

I'm not quit Betty Crocker so my girls get to eat the pre made cookie dough that all I have to do is turn the oven on and put them in.  But Addison still has to eat whatever cookie dough she can get her hands on.
